Feature Friday: Swag With Style + #BizBashLA
June has been quite the month thus far, and though we are an office divided when it comes to fútbol, we work splendidly together to bring you the best #eventtech possible. That’s why we’ve been busy little bees adding all these updates to the Boomset platform.
Our social networks are growing, and it’s even better to be able to put a face to the name. We were elated to have met so many of you event professionals at #BizBashLA, and we promise to continue to provide the most efficient, effective and reliable event registration and management on the planet.
Before we pack our bags for VidCon2014, let’s take a look at some of this week’s picks…
Featured Venue: Cellar Bar at the Bryant Park Hotel
A cavernous gothic lounge steps away from the lush green lawn of Bryant Park, Cellar Bar boasts approximately 3,000 square feet that accommodates groups of 10 to 200 guests. Their menu of passed hors d'oeurves will make your mouth water, and the venue will even specialize a menu to fit your event or client’s requests.
Intimate and sultry, the space is a refuge from the hot city sun, mixing up some “eclectic" cocktails and tasty tapas. Give it a preview and do some on-site research during happy hour. We don’t know what this is, but it sure does look like a thirst-quencher.
Have a look at their floor plan and contact information here.
Featured #Eventprofs: Jaclyn & Co. of Branded With Style
All these talk about trendy #swag and we had to mention another favorite of ours. There’s no better way to represent your brand than by using something that’s bold enough to stand out among the rest of ‘em and be customized for the best of 'em, and BWS is where it’s at!
Personalized picnic sets, energy-saving and sustainable products, or perhaps the Mighty Pen (with a couple of added superpowers functions)…there are tons of options listed on their website. We think these would be pretty handy for all you jetsetters and DMCs:
A universal power adapter personalized with your logo. Travel isn’t just for Tuesday, friends.
They’ve paired up with our pals at Offsite to discuss the importance of not so much being an event planner, but an experience designer. By thinking specifically about an event’s audience, you can provide a promotional product that’s useful and, well, cool.
See what we did there?

Featured Event Detail: Push Pops
Sweet or savory, push pops make a great addition to event design and decor–their deliciousness is just an added bonus. We’ve been seeing these pop up here and there at events over the last couple of years, and there are an infinite number of ways to incorporate them into an event’s menu or theme.
Jello, cake, mini shooters of your favorite cocktail, PIZZA DOUGH, cotton candy, nom nom nom. We love how creative the displays can be, too:
Who says you have to eat it? You can fill these gems with confetti or streamers. We choose the yummy ones, but we appreciate the creativity, especially those fillers that include glitter! (Don’t eat that, though.)
Birthday push pops for a certain someone’s special day in July (cough the author of this post cough cough)? Perhaps…
;)
