A freshly trimmed, lush green lawn is one of the best “features” about summer; you just want to kick off your shoes and feel its softness peaking out from under your toes. It’s not just this event design talking, we think it’s important to maintain a fresh look to better your brand—and sometimes, a whole new makeover.

It seems like #PlannerTech (now known as Techsy Talk Live) isn’t the only #eventprofs fun that’s shaking things up with something new. The team over here at Boomset has skipped the name change, but added all sorts of goodies to better the interactive experience of our system. Here’s what to look out for:

Feature Friday: Suite Status, A “Kreative” Koncept & Spritzing

How has everyone’s week been? Ours took us to the West Coast to man the registration and name badges for the #DSM14 Conference with @DocuSign. This was an extra important event because of the BIG debut of our kiosk mode—customized for the folks at DocuSign—that we were telling you about last week. Have you seen it?

Organized, efficient and an overall success, and a brief getaway from the snow. Boom(set)!

Feature Friday: Kiosk Mode ON, Rooftop Views & Some Good (Spiked) Jams

The last day of February calls for another birthday celebration and the addition of a new feature: KIOSK MODE. We have to tell you about it because we’re super-excited for its launch, and we know it’s going to be a great addition for those large events that want a more lax registration period.

This new option was inspired by and developed for the Docusign Momentum ‘14 conference that’s in San Fran next week, and features white-labeling options. What does that mean? Well, we can now customize and secure the kiosk screen on the device depending on that particular event or company brand. You’re going to be hearing more about it and for sure you’ll want to learn more—connect with us!

Let’s March on…get it? Meh, ok, fine…

Feature Friday: Plannercrawl, Historic NJ & Gourmet Cotton Candy

We must say, it’s been a pretty great week and that’s because of the #plannercrawl event held in NYC this past Tuesday. Liz King and Co. put together a phenomenal time—as always—and we were ~~excitedly~~ waiting at the door with iPads in hand and lanyards inches away for local #eventprofs, eager to get their venue-mode on despite the AM snow showers. You can see some photos (thanks for the one above, Offsite!) and what people are saying about the event here.

We can’t wait for the next one. In the meantime…

How’s everybody’s week going? A little messy with all the snow, but we’ve seen you on Instagram, #eventprofs—planning away at your computers with your giant mug of “coffee” /~~booze~~ beverage of your choice.

We’re hoping for a snow-free eve on February 18th. Why, you ask? Because Liz King & Co. have put together a nice little 3-hour event MeetUp for event professionals to take a look at some great venues right here in NYC. Your time is precious and your days can get pretty hectic, so take advantage to have a peak at the spaces and share some laughs and good eats with others in the industry.
