Internship for College Credit (Attending the Coolest Events in NYC)
STELLAR INTERN NEEDED!
Are you looking to be part of a fun group of #eventtech nerds set out to revolutionize the #eventplanning world?
Of course you are! And you’re in luck: we’re looking for both part and full-time intern(s) to start immediately.
Boomset is an exciting NYC-based startup that makes event registration and guest list management a breeze! Join an exciting, fast-paced start-up environment and make a difference in the world…and in tech as we know it.
We are seeking the ultimate office intern to provide support to our busy team. Daily tasks will consist of:
- attending the coolest events in NYC
- researching and compiling databases (and similar projects)
- organizing the team and our office and
- helping our team reach sales and marketing goals
This internship is for college credit; stipend and travel accommodations are available for compensation.
NYC STUDENTS: this is perfect for you, especially if you’re looking to get into the events industry or if you’d like to add work experience in NYC onto your resume in exchange for class credit.
About you:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Extremely organized and can multi-task efficiently to schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Calendar.
Must be available to be present in the office 2-3 days a week.
About us:
We are partners with eventbrite to deliver name badge and wristband printing, as well as multi-session conference communication to event planners all over the globe.
We work with organizations like the American Heart Association, Staples, Twitter, YELP, BizBash, and NYU and many other colleges across the country.
We are determined to be the TOP event management and guest list app IN THE UNIVERSE.
We encourage development through learning from other team members with different skill sets. Oh, and…we are New Yorkers. ;)
