Notice anything new around here?

It’s go big or go home at the HQ, and we couldn’t simply stop at relocating the office—oh, no. We’re bringing you a cleaner, more informative website and a new layout for Blog.Boomset.Com.

Another week and some more great events added to the roster. Yesterday we were with Market NY Expo at the Metropolitan Pavilion, a business-to-business trade show, conference and networking event that brought small business owners and professionals together to focus on going forward. Solutions like better content, greater social engagement, and quantifiable CRM were some of the experiences awaiting guests beyond the registration table.

A great success, and we can’t wait to return next year!

Feature Friday: A Zebra Prints in NYC, International Wedding Love & Edible Spoons

What’s black & white and prints custom name badges? Why, the latest upgrade to the Boomset system, of course!

We’re using the latest Zebra desktop printers—and maybe they aren’t black and white, but they sure do print a nice badge. We offer a roll of pre-printed templates complete with your company or client’s logo in color, and then you can click on over to the Boomset Badge Editor to customize the name badges for your event.

We announced some pretty cool news this week regarding our most recent partnership. Now you can register your seat with Eventbrite, upload all your docs to Boomset's platform and provide anything and everything your attendees need from their arrival and then throughout the event (and after!) with the fine folks at Quickmobile.

Taking the Experience TO-GO

There’s always a lot of talk about keeping clients/attendees/guests happy, because let’s face it, a happy client can go beyond that of just making your day a little brighter.

Feature Friday: Plannercrawl, Historic NJ & Gourmet Cotton Candy

We must say, it’s been a pretty great week and that’s because of the #plannercrawl event held in NYC this past Tuesday. Liz King and Co. put together a phenomenal time—as always—and we were ~~excitedly~~ waiting at the door with iPads in hand and lanyards inches away for local #eventprofs, eager to get their venue-mode on despite the AM snow showers. You can see some photos (thanks for the one above, Offsite!) and what people are saying about the event here.

We can’t wait for the next one. In the meantime…

Millenials: Giving the Visual Experience

Oh, Millenials. Robbie started off the century with this little ditty—and we’re not saying he’s the Shakespeare of our time or anything, just that he kind of saw where we were heading.

We’ve been talking about how 2014 is the year of the VISUAL and the importance of creating an experience for your guests and attendees. They are the tech-saavy users, the researchers, the opinion leaders; they are the next round of folks to tie the knot, and they’re attracted of all the Pinterest-style visuals and overall craftiness that the worldwide web has to offer.
