FEATURED VENUE: BROOKLYN ACADEMY OF MUSIC, NY

Charmingly referred to as ‘BAM,’ the Brooklyn Academy of Music is an entertainer’s delight thanks to their flexible and fun event space. The Lepercq Space is located on the second floor of the center, and is detailed with twinkling lights strung from vaulted iron beams and large marquee bulbs dotting the walls and framing the beaux-arts style windows.

What once was a ballroom, the space provides capacity for:
- 170 (seated dinner and full dance floor)
- 250 (full seated dinner)
- 350 (full reception area)
Hosting your event at BAM includes a top-of-the-line event crew to assist in your event management and production, from stagehands for event registration and set-up, to fireguards and coat check. Be aware of all applicable surcharges and fees. The venue itself is available for rent with or without catering options (which is an additional add-on package).

To have a walk-through and see the exposed brick walls for your social event, meeting, or off-site activity, contact the BAM event management team here.

FEATURED EVENT INDUSTRY TREND: THE MULTI-SENSORY EXPERIENCE
Sight, smell, sound, touch, and taste, an event that feeds the senses (literally and figuratively) is sure to be one to create buzz. Mood lighting, custom event scents, and unique catering are just some of the many options and opportunities eventprofs have when it comes to designing an event around the senses.
How about bubbles filled with flavored smoke?

Creating multi-sensory events is one of the latest and greatest trends growing strong in 2016, and attendees are craving more than simply listening and watching at events. Even meetings and team-building socials are trying to appease all five senses, such as changing up the venue to reconnect with nature like this rustic barn:
