What happens when some of the world’s most influential “changemakers” come together? They make a difference. We were honored to be at the door of such an event this week for the Lower East Side Girls Club Grand Opening Gala, along with the Top Model herself, Tyra Banks, and other greats Rosario Dawson, Simon Doonan and Jonathan Adler.

Guests checked-in and according to color received a bracelet to assign their seating for the dinner portion of the evening. The night was a huge success—take a look.

A Case of the Blues

The spike in temperature has us holding onto Summer13 for one more day, but we’re still all about keeping up with the latest trends for Fall.

And yes, we totally just referenced the Wilson Phillips scene from Bridesmaids; we’re just that excited about the warm weather. 

So to make your event really POP, you can try incorporating one of the latest cool gadgets or even some creative DIY projects, but if you really want to stay in tune with your inner-fashionista and event professional-guru, you’ll want to use this dark blue color for Fall 2013:

We think it’s something that’s sure to be seen at the Event Planner Expo this year. There are so many ways to repurpose and recreate something we’ve already seen everywhere else, even something so simple and traditional as balloons.
